肾蕨（学名：Nephrolepis auriculata （L. ）Trimen）：附生或土生。根状茎直立，被蓬松的淡棕色长钻形鳞片，下部有粗铁丝状的匍匐茎向四方横展，匍匐茎棕褐色，不分枝，疏被鳞片，有纤细的褐棕色须。叶簇生，暗褐色，略有光泽，叶片线状披针形或狭披针形，一回羽状，羽状多数，互生，常密集而呈覆瓦状排列，披针形，叶缘有疏浅的钝锯齿。叶脉明显，侧脉纤细，自主脉向上斜出，在下部分叉。叶坚草质或草质，干后棕绿色或褐棕色，光滑。孢子囊群成1行位于主脉两侧，肾形，生于每组侧脉的上侧小脉顶端，位于从叶边至主脉的1/3处；囊群盖肾形，褐棕色，边缘色较淡，无毛。

原产热带和亚热带地区，中国华南各地山地林源有野生。常地生和附生于溪边林下的石缝中和树干上。喜温暖潮润和半阴环境，忌阳光直射。肾蕨是中国内外广泛应用的观赏蕨类，除园林应用外，肾蕨还是传统的中药材。肾蕨背面有大量孢子囊，用来繁殖后代。

形态特征
